1 1/2	lb	Flour
10	oz	Margarine or other fat
4	oz	Mixed citrus peel
1/2	oz	Baking soda
1/2	ts	Mixed spice
1	lb	Currants
1/2	lb	Raisins
1/2	lb	Sugar
1	pt	Soured milk

All measurements given are UK.

Beat fat and sugar to a cream. Add all dry ingredients, mix with the soured milk. Bake for 2 hours in a moderate oven.
